Pražské geotechnické dny
Mezinárodní konference s účastí předních odborníků v oblasti geotechniky z celého světa se každoročně zaměřuje na nejnovější poznatky vědy a aktuální témata v oblasti geotechniky
Dvoudenní mezinárodní konferenci Pražské geotechnické dny spolupořádáme již od roku 1993. Konference se každoročně zaměřuje na nejnovější poznatky vědy a aktuální témata v oblasti geotechniky. S ohledem na tematické zaměření každého ročníku, jsou hlavním bodem prvního konferenčního dne přednášky odborníků z celého světa a Pražská geotechnická přednáška. Druhý konferenční den je věnován workshopu, zpravidla pod vedením autora Pražské geotechnické přednášky. Pražské geotechnické dny se konají v historických prostorách Akademie věd ČR v centru Prahy a v kampusu Univerzity Karlovy na Albertově. Během mezinárodní konference je také udělována Cena akademika Quida Záruby pro mladé inženýrské geology a geotechniky za mimořádné a nejzajímavější práce v oboru.

Pražské geotechnické přednášky
Na postu přednášejících se během uspořádaných ročníků vystřídalo velké množství odborníků na různá odvětví geotechniky, od numerického modelování, přes problematiku environmentální geotechniky, mechaniku zemin a hornin, problematiku vody v zeminách, horninách a geotechnických konstrukcích, až po speciální geotechnické úkoly, jako je například ochrana a záchrana historických objektů z hlediska geotechniky, energetická geotechnika nebo zakládání výškových budov na různých podložích či zakládání na mořském dně.
